The second-generation Hyundai Palisade’s reveal may have been delayed due to political conflict in South Korea, but that hasn’t stopped images of the new SUV leaking online.
Images shared by Autospy reveal the interior and exterior of Hyundai’s new flagship combustion-powered SUV, which is also reportedly set to move to a new platform and gain hybrid power for the first time.
The styling appears even more squared-off than before, with a straightened window line.

The flanks are cleaner than before, though sharp creases above the wheel arches simulate wheel-arch extensions.
Up front, the segmented grille is replaced by one that appears even wider and includes a mix of narrow and wide horizontal elements.
There’s a chunky take on Hyundai’s ‘pixel’ lighting elements, with five wide daytime running light segments. These bookend headlight clusters that push right up to the grille, further emphasising the width of the car.
The bonnet has sharp, squared-off creasing reminiscent of the sheetmetal above the wheel arches.
Inside, there’s a digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen neatly tucked into the dash. On the passenger side, the dashboard appears scooped out and inside there’s striated wood-look trim and ambient lighting elements.
The centre stack features a pod containing what appear to be physical buttons for functions like the stereo, while below this is a pod containing climate controls.
Its centre console is split between what appears to be a shelf at floor level, and a floating ‘peninsula’ containing cupholders, USB-C outlets, and a wireless charging pad.
The door trims have a clean, slab-sided look reminiscent of the Ioniq 5, with ambient lighting glowing from behind the flat armrest.
In this example, its interior is finished in tan, and stitching elements are visible along the centre console, dash and doors.
While specifications haven’t been leaked as yet, The Korean Car Blog reports the current car’s 3.8-litre petrol V6 and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engines will be replaced by a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine – likely that used in the Santa Fe – plus a new 2.5-litre hybrid four.
With the Santa Fe growing in size, the Palisade is also expected to increase in dimensions.
Hyundai is also reportedly looking to increase Palisade production by 30 per cent.
It’s unclear when Hyundai will officially pull the wraps off of the Palisade, and if any leaked images will appear in the interim.
