About This Role

You will be responsible for designing and developing embedded hardware systems for advanced applications. This role requires a blend of embedded systems expertise, hardware design, and real-time data processing, ensuring seamless integration of electronics into high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Electronics Design & Development:

  • Design custom circuits and PCBs for real-time computing and precision electronics.
  • Develop hardware for wireless power transfer, data communication, and real-time processing.
  • Work on power management, signal processing, and sensor interfacing.
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.

Embedded Systems Development

  • Program microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex, etc.) using Embedded C/C++ or Python.
  • Implement real-time firmware with a focus on high-speed and low-latency applications.
  • Develop error-free, high-speed communication interfaces for data transfer.

Hardware Integration & Testing

  • Work with sensors (IMU, LRF, environmental sensors) and real-time computing modules.
  • Debug and validate designs using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Optimize designs for high reliability, safety, and environmental ruggedness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers for seamless hardware-software integration.
  • Contribute to the development of edge-computing solutions on platforms like Nvidia Jetson.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 1–5 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, or hardware design in a product development environment.
  • Proficiency in PCB design and circuit simulation tools.
  • Strong foundation in microcontroller programming and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations and design for ruggedized applications.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with wireless power transfer, RFID, or NFC.
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed data transfer and precision timing electronics.
  • Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and real-time system validation.
