Technical Support Engineer – Interns EC At eMeasurematics

Primary Competency

  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
  • Install and configure software, networks and applications.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain systems.
  • Respond to technical support calls from other staff members or clients and communicate how to resolve issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system and network problems, software faults or hardware complications.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Keep a record of issues, along with solutions, to refer back to in future instances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Handle software-related requests for assistance (problems).
  • Troubleshoot software and identify root causes of software problems.
  • Installation / maintenance / corrective / emergency maintenance visits at customer sites (all over India) for eMeasurematics products.
  • Testing of Sensors, radars and other electronic equipment, etc. with PLCs

Technical Skill Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Autocad-2D
  • Knowledge of LAN/Wireless LAN and networking components
  • Knowledge of PLC basics, programming, and troubleshooting
  • Good Knowledge of RDBMS.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical schematics and GA drawings
  • Understanding of Flow Charts, UMLs etc
  • Good knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel.
