2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO price and specs

The 2025 Mahindra XUV 3XO, the Indian automaker’s new small crossover SUV, is about to enter a fierce showroom battle with cut-price rivals including the Chery Tiggo 4 as well as the hot-selling Mazda CX-3.

Mahindra thinks it will become its best-selling vehicle in Australia, at least until it rolls out models in new segments in the coming years.

Officially on sale from July 4 with an introductory price of $23,490 drive-away until August 31, 2025, the XUV 3XO is Australia’s cheapest SUV and comes in two model grades.

Both use the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive and claimed 6.5L/100km combined fuel economy.

There’s a diesel version as well as a more powerful four-cylinder petrol engine sold overseas, but Mahindra says it won’t be bringing either of these versions to local showrooms.

The range starts with the XUV 3XO AX5L – to give it its full name – at $23,490 drive-away nationally, with its price from September 2025 increasing to $23,990.

Standard equipment across the range includes alloy wheels, LED headlights and front fog lamps, sunroof, keyless entry and engine start, and a surround-view camera with rear parking sensors.

Inside, there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
